Updating Your Profile Information (Name, Date of Birth and Personal Details)

Updating Your Profile Information (Name, Date of Birth and Personal Details)

Who is this for?  Learners who need to correct or update personal information on the SIS.

If you need to correct or update your name, date of birth, or other personal details, submit a profile update request through the Support Portal. The relevant team reviews your request before any change is made.

Before you begin

  • Make sure the information you provide is accurate and current.

  • Clearly state both the current (old) information and the new information you want.

  • Attach any supporting documents your request needs. Requests to update a name or date of birth must include a valid affidavit.

How to submit your request

  1. Log in to the Support Portal.

  2. Click Get Help and sign in with your student email and password.

  3. Select Make a Request and enter your Student ID, programme of study, and full name.

  4. Under Category, select Student Portal; under Subcategory, select Profile Update.

  5. In the Description, state the information to update, giving the current (old) value and the new value.

  6. Attach any required documents. For a name or date of birth update, attach a valid affidavit (a government-issued ID or court affidavit showing the correct details is also accepted).

  7. Review your request and click Submit.

What happens next

The relevant department reviews your request, contacts you if more information or documentation is needed, and updates your profile once approved. To avoid delays, make sure the details on your document match exactly what you want updated.
