What to Do if Your Payment Is Not Reflecting

What to Do if Your Payment Is Not Reflecting

Who is this for?  Learners whose payment has not appeared on their portal.

Payments are usually processed and reflected on the SIS within a short time. Occasionally a payment does not appear immediately due to processing times, banking delays, or incomplete payment information. There is no need to panic: verify your details, allow time for processing, and report it through the right channel if it persists.

Frequently Asked Questions

My payment is not reflecting. What should I do?

Confirm the payment was debited from your account, check your receipt or confirmation, refresh the SIS and log in again, and allow some time for processing.

If it still does not reflect after a reasonable period, raise a support ticket with your receipt attached.

How long do payments take to reflect?

Most update automatically after successful processing, but timing can vary with your payment method, your bank, system processing times, and network delays.

If it has not reflected after the expected period, report it through the appropriate channel.

What information should I provide?

Include your full name, Student ID, amount paid, date of payment, and your receipt or proof of payment. Complete details help Finance and Support investigate faster.

My bank confirms success but the portal still shows a balance.

A successful debit does not always mean the payment is fully processed by the university. Wait for the standard 24 to 48 hour processing window, check again, and if the balance remains, report it with your payment evidence through the Support Portal.

Can the Success Advisory Team manually update my payment?

No. They cannot credit or alter payment records. Their role is to help you report the issue and escalate it to the right department for verification and resolution.
