Learners are required to fulfill all requirements that make them eligible to sit for exams. It is important to pay attention to each course for course-specific requirements.
Generally, students must have completed and submitted all graded assessments (e.g. mid-semester, end-of-semester, Group Projects etc.) and marked all their learning modules as done to be eligible to take examinations.
- Examination training is scheduled ahead of each examination window. Any update or change in processes are discussed during this session and all learners are expected to participate in the training as part of preparation for their examinations.
- For students writing at a CBT Centre, you are advised to locate your CBT Centre at least a day before the start of the examination, and be at the examination centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam.
- Students writing their exams under the supervision of an online proctor must have set up their computer and connected with the Proctor at least 15 minutes before the start of the exam.
- The school highly frowns against any act negating exam ethics and regulations. Any learner found culpable would face the disciplinary committee for a fair hearing and the outcome will be communicated to the learner in line with the provisions of the University's Examination Malpractice Sanction Grid. Sanctions could range from a semester suspension to expulsion, depending on the offence and or the given decision following the hearing.
