Requesting a Refund

Requesting a Refund

Who is this for?  Enrolled learners, domestic and international, who may be eligible for a refund.

There are situations where you may need a refund, such as withdrawing from the university or meeting other eligible circumstances set out in Miva's Terms of Service. This article explains who can request a refund, how to do so, and what to expect.

Before you request

Review the refund eligibility criteria and confirm your request falls within the applicable timeframe. In general, the policy allows a 50% refund of tuition if you withdraw within the first four weeks of the academic session. Withdrawals after that window are not eligible, except in documented medical or family emergencies, which are reviewed case by case. See the Terms of Service for full details.

How to request a refund

  1. Obtain the Refund Policy Form, either from your Success Advisor at success@miva.university, via the WhatsApp Support Channel, or directly through the Tuition Refund Request Form.

  2. Complete and submit the form with your reason for withdrawal and any supporting documentation.

  3. Raise a support ticket on the Support Portal so the appropriate team can review your request and provide updates.

Processing and approval

Allow up to 14 working days from the date your completed form is received for your request to be reviewed and processed. Refund requests are reviewed by the Registrar and Bursar before final approval by the Vice Chancellor.

Note  Refund requests are subject to the university's refund policy and eligibility requirements. Requests outside the eligible period may not be approved, and submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
