Your First Week at Miva: Everything You Need to Do
Who is this for? New learners in their first seven days.
Your first week is about getting oriented and completing the essentials so you can start learning without interruption. Work through the checklist below at your own pace, and reach out to your Success Advisor if anything is unclear.
Your first-week checklist
Attend or return the call from your Success Advisor and note down any actions they suggest.
Activate your Miva student email and check that you can send and receive messages.
Log in to your Student Information System (SIS) and confirm your details are correct.
Log in to the LMS and open the New Student Orientation course.
Join your official cohort community so you receive class reminders and updates.
Getting these done early removes the most common causes of a stressful start: missing announcements, late submissions, and login trouble on the day of your first class.
